The band was originally formed as the Argoed Concert Band in 1997. Adopted by Mold Town Council in 1999 we became Mold Town Band. Then in 2002 we changed our name to Mold Town Concert Band.
We currently consist of approximately 40 very friendly musicians who play a variety of wind instruments. We are open to all ages from school students through to retired members. Ages 11 to 81 at present!
Playing the most popular tunes from the jazz era that people can enjoy listening, dancing or singing along to, has made The Hotfoot Jazz Men a popular choice for many different occasions. Well known at jazz festivals and clubs in Wales, they also count appearances on BBC and HTV to their name.

The Breaks are 3 piece band consisting of bass, drums and lead/rhythm guitar. Playing all sorts of rock music, as our slogan suggests – ‘INDIEROCKNROLDSKOOL’!
